September Rabies Clinic at the Blackshear Animal Shelter

Harp sponsored a rabies clinic on 9-20-08 in front of the Blackshear Animal Shelter to help with our Spay/Neuter Program. In an attempt to have 100 dogs vaccinated we finished up with 81 in all. That is a very good percentage of dogs that we helped to get their shots updated. We also handed out applications for help with spay/neuter on all these animals. If you were a participate of this function and did not get an application, please contact Kurt Hawkins at: 912-288-2029 to pick up your application.
We would also like to thank the local vets, Dr. Hank Wheeler of Satilla Animal Hospital and Dr. Kim Ellis of Southpaw Animal Clinic, for attending this event. We hope to have more of these events in the near future so stay tuned for more information.

November Rabies Clinic in Patterson

HARP sponsored another Rabies Clinic in Patterson on Saturday,11-15-08 from 1-3pm. We had a total of 19 dogs vaccinated to sum our total to 100 dogs vaccinated. We would like to thank Dr. Hank Wheeler for attending and administering the shots. Hopefully this will help boost the awareness of spay and neuter in the community of Patterson. We started the cycle with the rabies shots and gave out flyers on the benefits of spay and neuter, it's up to the families to do the rest. Below are some pictures of the event.........
