Welcome to the Blackshear Animal Shelter Residents, this page is dedicated to showing the community what animals are in the shelter. So if you have lost an animal or you are looking to adopt and animal, this is the site for you. All animals are adoptable after 5 days once picked up. Dogs are $25 and Cats are $15. These animals picked up are as is, the city shelter does not give the animals any kind of treament other than shelter, food and water. If you are interested in looking at an animal in the shelter please contact the City Police Dept. @ 449-7011. For more infomation on these animals you can contact Kurt at 288-2029. The Humane Animal Rescue Program(H.A.R.P.) provides this information for free through donations in our group. Please Help an Animal Live and not be euthanized.
