1ST ANNUAL SPRING COMMUNITY EVENT
Walgreens of Waycross will be hosting a community event on Saturday April 17th from 10am-3pm featuring local animal care organizations to include:
Humane Animal Rescue Program, H.A.R.P., INC., Inc from Blackshear
All About Animals, Inc from Blackshear
Okefenokee Humane Society from Waycross
Fancy Paws and Claws from Blackshear
Satilla Animal Hospital from Waycross
Each organization will be performing services based on their functionality. HARP will have a Vet on-site administering rabies shots for a price of $12.50. HARP will also have available animals from the Blackshear Animal Shelter up for adoption. All About Animals and the Okefenokee Humane Society will also have animals up for adoption for you to see and adopt based on their criteria. Fancy Paws and Claws will have grooming services available.

This is the first time that these groups have joined together to provide the public with the knowledge of what their organization does to help the community. Helping in controlling the animal population in your local area is a big task that some people don’t realize how difficult it is to maintain. These groups do the best they can in helping with adoption, rescue, spay/neuter and safety for your animals. You can contact these groups anytime with your questions in regards to what it is you are in need of for your animal.
HARP will have hotdogs and pepsi to help toward our cause, so take the time and stop by to see how we operate and donate towards an animal that needs your help to prevent future abandonment of animals, and don’t forget Spay/Neuter is the Correct Choice.
